I second all the negative reviews on this site and on Consumer Affairs.

To put it simply, RH is unprofessional and unethical (posting false job postings to get resumes), and the sleaze ball tactics that the recruiters use to get their commission and/or fill their quota is evident. You here from one recruiter initially, then another, and another giving you a difficult time struggling to keep up with their disorganization.

Working with RH is such a waste of time. Stay away even if you're desperate for a job.

Robert Half doesn't care about helping find you a job that is suited to your needs and experience level. You're much better off looking for jobs on your own.

Product or Service Mentioned: Robert Half Recruitment.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

I dealt with RH once. They told me I was hired and then all communication with them ceased.

They played games for 5 weeks, with the so-called recruiter on the phone, unavailable, every time I called. Finally, they admitted the position had been cancelled weeks earlier. Everyone is better off looking for their own work, rather than relying on a staffing agency.

Despite what most people think, agencies do NOT exist in order to find you work. They work for their clients, the hiring companies.

I disagree with your comments about Robert Half. I actually know someone who has dealt with them for the past 4 or so year and has gotten two jobs thru them, each time at a higher salary than the previous.

I think the problem is that those with slim qualifications will have a very hard time obtaining a position, no matter which recruiter they use. If you have good qualifications and do well in an interview and know your stuff, you will get a good job.

The problem is that Robert Half never actually gets you an interview, to begin with.
